October has been set aside as Pastor Appreciation Month, and I thank the congregation for the nice gift and the appreciation. Appreciation is needed for all of us.
Last year, I set up a special page for online Pastor Appreciation, but did not do that this year. Perhaps you will use the comment section of this blog post to do that this year. October is almost over, but that's okay.
I just want to briefly express my appreciation for our Pastor, my dad. It wasn't always easy to see my dad as my pastor, but I've grown to proudly call him so. It is a special thing to have my dad as my pastor. No longer a stumbling block, but now a joy to minister along side him at the Mission. I thank God for the privilege and opportunity to be able to minister with my family and look forward to my children growing up with their father as their pastor. There will be challenges, but I'm confident in the Lord that they will one day see their father as I see mine today.
God Bless my dad and God Bless the Main Street Mission.

I hope both of my Pastor's know how I feel about them as Pastor's and as men. I too, feel privileged to be able to minister , as a pastor's wife and w/ The Johnsey Family, beside my family. It is a special gift from God to have a family that can "stand" each other that much, to do so much together and it takes GOD to make it work. Thank you Victor and Allen for all you do seen and unseen by man, but all of it seen by God . You both mean so very much to me. I love both of you w/ all my heart. Bunny/Mom

I want to express my feelings about Pastor Allen. I hope you know how proud I am of you. It has been a long hard road to get where we are. It probably is not going to get easier anytime soon. But, with the help of Almighty God, we are here and we will keep going.
It is an honor and a priviledge to minister side by side with you. I never realized how much of a blessing it would be, to minister with my son until it happened. I have been so blessed to be able to watch you grow and mature in the Lord. How you have learned to handle people and situations, problems, and trials, as well as the joys and victories.
All these things make me swell with pride, that you are my son, my co-pastor, a man of faith, and a man of God.
Know that I have your back, and that you are in my prayers. I love you. Dad
